“We really can’t commend the team at Stoke Place enough and everything came together perfectly. The venue was always our number one choice as we know it well from Sunday lunches in the restaurant. As soon as we started speaking to Tracey we knew that we had made the right choice. She helped us every step of the way, was always available to give advise and views and she really helped bring the whole thing together. Additionally, Patrick as the Toast Master did a brilliant job and so many of our guests commented on how friendly and engaged he was. Didier and the team also deserve a mention for getting the whole day running like clockwork, and one of the wait staff, Brandon, was superb and again many guests commented on this to us.
By working with SPs preferred suppliers for flowers, centerpieces, lighting and entertainment we were able to fully make use of their expertise of the venue and this really paid off as the ballroom and lakeside looked brilliant and was everything we could have asked for.
The Queen Anne was the ideal wedding suite and lots of little touches really enhanced this, and having our friends and family stay in the hotel with us before and after the wedding made the couple of days so special.
Finally, we had a live band in the evening and with guest numbers of around 120, the lakeside was perfect for this. We sourced the band ourselves but SP worked with them before the event to ensure everything went as planned.
We could not have asked any more for our wedding and will always be grateful to Stoke Place for all they did for us.”

“Stoke Place was the first venue we looked at and we knew straight away we had to get married there. The layout of the venue was perfect – we wanted the bar and dance floor to be in the same area and the ceremony room was breathtaking(thanks to Red Cat Lighting!). From the moment we met Tracey the wedding coordinator we knew we simply didnt want to put our trust in anyone else – she is so thorough, responsive and generally just really friendly that she made the process so easy and enjoyable! We also couldn’t recommend the toastmaster Patrick enough as he was loved by us and our guests – he was checking in on us throughout the day and was so easy to get on with some of our guests assumed we had met him before! The whole team at Stoke Place are amazing – nothing is too much trouble and they genuinely want you to have the wedding you dream of and will do all they can to make sure it is exactly how you picture your day. We were told prepare for little things to go wrong on the day but genuinely everything Stoke Place did was fantastic – it genuinely is our favourite place ever. Tracey, was so helpful throughout the planning of our wedding since 2019, through Covid 19 and replanning and moving to different dates she made this happen without a hitch, we could not of asked for a more supportive wedding coordinator thank you ! The actual big day went off without a hitch the staff where so helpful starting from the night before up until we left the day after, nothing was too much to ask and they found a way to facility all that we asked. Tracey was so helpful throughout the planning stages, answering all our questions and explaining how the day would work. We had the most perfect day on Friday, from start to finish we loved every second and that was down to you and your wonderful team and the effort you all put in. We wanted to take some time to properly say thank you for everything.
“Firstly, thank you so much for the support leading up to our big day. We felt so supported and we loved the fact that we knew every little detail of how the day was going to go! It was all thought about for us and it really helped us as we are so indecisive usually but the process kept us organised and we never felt overwhelmed.
“A massive thank you to you and your team. Patrick was pivotal in helping our day run smoothly and calmly, he also really helped keep Connor calm beforehand too! He was so friendly and funny throughout our whole wedding.
Sabine and Rene were also wonderful and so attentive, we really felt like our day was just in perfect hands with them both. They were also so friendly and kind. They and the staff on hand during our day were fab, everything was swift and organised and we really felt so special because of the attention to detail. Everyone commented on how lovely the food was so please pass on our gratitude.
Finally thank you Tracey! You were just amazing throughout, you really are so good at what you do! We will forever be grateful for you helping us have the most perfect day. Like we said before, we are not naturally decisive or particularly organized so we were dreading the planning side a little, but you made it enjoyable and stress-free! Even when we were worried about something you solved it almost instantly with ease!
We will be back to Stoke Place again to visit (we are planning to meet Lisa there to view the photographs when they are ready!) And hope we get to see you all again.”

“We had an absolutely wonderful day, with special thanks to all of your team, Patrick especially was as wonderful as you’d said he would be! The day completely flew by and all of our guests have said what a wonderful day they’d had. We were so lucky with the weather too. It was cold, but oh so beautiful!
The food was wonderful too. One of our guests is a professional chef and although he always refuses to give his professional opinion, his wife is always more forthcoming! She said it was the best food she’d ever had at a wedding and the best service too, so more thanks for your food and beverage team.

We were so lucky to get married at Stoke Place on 22nd October after multiple postponements due to Covid.
Ever since we booked our wedding in January 2020, we have been thoroughly supported throughout the whole experience by the whole team.
In particular Tracey has been our rock! She was there for the highs and lows of planning our special day and was so happy for us when we eloped before our big wedding day too. Nothing was too much trouble for Tracey. She’s supported us the whole way and we look forward to seeing her again in the future!
Due to so many date changes, we also changed many aspects of the wedding and the team took everything in their stride. Even changes that had to happen on the day were handled very smoothly. Chrissy was there from the morning of the wedding and helped me and the wedding party when things went wrong (such as cancellations from guests and one bridesmaid!). I (bride) was a little worse for wear from a little too much celebratory Prosecco the night before and Chrissy also provided me with bottles of water and sweets to keep me from crashing while I set up the ceremony room! It was just little touches like this that really made me feel like everyone really cared about our day. When Sabine took over later in the day, you could see the determination on his face to make everything run smoothly and he definitely did that! He was always available throughout the wedding to help us with anything we needed.
And Rene! Well, he’s just brilliant! After our first cancellation and date change we thought he might not remember us after our first meeting, but he came and gave us a big hug the morning of and was so happy for us! He helped us throughout the day with anything we needed and was instrumental in keeping us ‘hydrated’ and happy. His general vibe is just so fun! We were genuinely sad when his shift ended!

We had our wedding breakfast and reception at Stoke Place. The grounds offered us the freedom to move around the hotel and our guests thought that they were VIPs. Every single member of staff worked hard to make sure that our guests were taken care of and the champagne kept on coming. We would definitely recommend anyone to have their wedding at Stoke Place. Tracey, the wedding coordinator, is faultless, and her staff around her are attentive, friendly and hard-working.
We have been to Stoke Place on other occasions including afternoon tea, lunch, and dinner. Each time we have been blown away by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff.
Easy to get to, why wouldn’t you go back again and again?
We got married at Stoke Place last year and I cannot recommend this venue enough. The hotel and grounds are absolutely stunning but what made a real difference to me and my husband were the staff. Tracey, the wedding coordinator is extremely knowledgeable, organised and very responsive, and helpful. Patrick the toastmaster is fantastic - he is friendly, organised and made our day run smoothly.
We had such a beautiful intimate wedding at Stoke Place. It was such a wonderful day and everything we had hoped for and more. The team did everything to ensure the day ran how we had wanted it to. And all our guests commented on how fabulous and attentive the staff had been and how amazing the food was. We had four-date changes due to Covid and I can’t thank the Events Team enough for helping us
